Srinagar: Police on Friday said that a Bank Security Guard was thrashed by unknown persons after he foiled their attempt to loot an ATM in Kashmir capital Srinagar.
The incident occurred at Barbarshah area of Srinagar city that falls under the jurisdiction of Police Station Kralkhud.
“Suspected militants thrashed a J&K Bank Guard at Barbarshah Srinagar after he foiled ATM loot while raising an alarm,” said a Police official adding that investigation has been started to find out whether they carried arms or not.
