Srinagar, April 13 : Police on Wednesday arrested drug peddler and have recovered 180 grams of charas at Lolpora area north Kashmir’s Kunzer Baramulla, officials said.
Police as per a statement issued to said that on routine naka checking at Dhobiwan Kunzer, Baramulla Police under the supervision of Sh. Hilal Khaliq-JKPS, SDPO Tangmarg assisted by Inspr. Sarjan Ahmad, SHO PS Kunzer arrested 01 drug peddler namely Mohd Ramzan Tantray S/O Gh Mohd Tantray R/O Shirpora and recovered 180 grams of Charas like substance from his possession.
As per the spokesperson, a case under NDPS Act registered in Police Station Kunzer and investigation set in motion. General People of Kunzer hailed the efforts of Baramulla Police and showed their willingness to support police to eradicate menace of Drugs from the society which is the real sign of Police Public relationship.
Moreover, people are requested to come forward with information regarding Drug Peddlers of their areas so that drug menace can be eradicated from the society.
