Srinagar, April 25;(GNS) Two militants were killed after fierce gunfight broke between militants and government forces in Bagender Mohalla area of Bijbehara in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Thursday early morning.
SSP Anantnag Altaf Khan confirmed to GNS about killing of two militants in overnight gunfight. However the identity and affiliation of the slain militants are yet to be ascertained, the officer said.
Meanwhile mobile internet was suspended in Anantnag for precautionary measures.(GNS)
