Anantnag, Jan 01 (GNS): A black bear was captured alive by a Wildlife Department team in Andoo Shangus area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Sunday Morning.
Reports reaching to GNS said that on receiving information about the black bear along human habitation, a team of experts from range office Achabal was sent to the area to trannqualise the black bear. A trap was laid in the area and the bear was finally captured without causing any injury to anyone.
The bear has been been shifted to Daksum Wildlife Sanctuary. (GNS)
