Srinagar, Mar 16 (KS):- Body of a man who had jumped into the river Jhelum last month has been retrieved on Saturday.
An official told news agency Kashmir Scroll that the dead body of a person identified Nazir Ahmed Matoo son Ali Mohd Matoo resident of Tenbagh Eidgah Srinagar has been recovered from river Jhelum at Shalteng bridge by Police.
He said that man had jumped from Safakadal bridge on February 29 this year.
Meanwhile police have already taken cognizance and investigation is going on.(KS)
