Budgam, 7th April 2023: Continuing its efforts to discourage the trade and transportation of illicit liquor, Budgam Police arrests a bootlegger & recovered 12 bottles of liquor from his possession.
During naka checking at Humhama, police party of police post Humhama intercepted one person roaming in suspicious conditions. During his personal search, police recovered 12 Bottles of Liquor from his possession. He has been arrested on spot and subsequently identified as Mohammad Ashraf Khan S/O Kaiser Khan R/O Alosa Bandipora
Case FIR number 83/2023 under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Budgam and investigation taken up.
