Pattan 05 Oct【KNZ】:A braid chopping incident took place at Singpora Pattan in northern Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Thursday
Whereas the braid choppers cut the braid of a newly wedded bride of Basharat Ah Malik at his residence Singpora Pattan during wee hours on Thursday, and the victim was reffered to SDH Pattan for treatment
Whereas the people arrested two choppers, who were later taken under custody by Pattan Police and further investigation was taken up
Whereas people of the area gathered, protest and blocked the national Highway at Singpora Pattan while Police used tear shelling to disperse the protesters
Meanwhile when the victim was referred to SDH Pattan for treatment, The women of area started protest in main market Pattan, which later ended peacefully.
