BUDGAM 19th Oct (KNZ):On 14th October 2021 police post soibug received a written complaint from one person namely Ali Mohammad Malla son of Abdul Rehman malla resident of Dargund Budgam stating therein that some unknown persons have stolen his wallet along with cash amount of ₹22000 & ATM card (with confidential PIN slip) etc.
After few days ATM card was used illegally and cash amount of ₹40000 were withdrawn from the account of complainant.
On receipt of this information, case FIR number 317/2021 under relevant sections of laws stands registered at Police Station Budgam and investigation set into motion.
During the course of investigation CCTV footage of the incident of crime were procured from J&K Bank Headquarters but the accussed persons have taken all precautions to conceal their identity by putting masks and wearing caps during transaction at ATM.
Investigating team put sustained efforts including technical and human inputs zeroed 02 suspects namely Dilawar Ahmad Shagoo son of Nisar Ahmad Shagoo & Fida Hussain Khanday son of Ghulam Mohammad Khanday residents of Yekhmanpora pattan both of them during sustained questioning confessed their involvement in commission of the crime and on their disclosure cash amount of ₹50,000, 01Wallet, 02 Caps, 02 masks recovered.
Both the accused have been arrested in the case and investigation is in progress, more confessions and recoveries are expected.KNZ
