Srinagar, Mar 25 : Police on Saturday said that it has solved burglary case by arresting one persons and recovered stolen property in Yadipora Pattan area of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
In a statement issued to Kashmir Scroll said that the 23 December 2022 Police Post Palhallan received a complaint from one Bashir Ahmad Yatoo S/O Gh Mohd Yatoo resident of Yadipora Pattan stating therein that during intervening nights of 22nd & 23rd December-2022, some unknown burglars broke open the lock of his shop and stole tea bags, cigarette boxes etc.
To this effect Police Station Pattan registered Case FIR number 340/2022 under relevant sections of law and investigation was started.
During the course of investigation of the case with the help of technical and human resources names of some suspects came to surface, one of them namely Faizan Ahmad Gojri @ Pita S/O Mohd Ramzan Gojri R/O Gojri Mohalla Palhallan was identified and was called for questioning. After thorough interrogation he confessed that he has committed theft and, upon his disclosure, all stolen property was recovered from his possession and he was taken into custody immediately reads the statements
