BANDIPORA, MARCH 06: Chief Animal Husbandry Officer Bandipora Altaf Hussain Kangoo on Thursday was given an affectionate farewell by the district administration Bandipora at Mini Secretariat on attaining superannuation.
Deputy Commissioner Bandipora, Shahbaz Ahmad Mirza lead the officers in bidding adieu to the officer who attained superannuation on April 30 after discharging meritorious services for over 36 years.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Bandipora, Zahoor Ahmad Mir, Assistant Commissioner Revenue Reyaz Ahmad Beigh, Assistant Commissioner Development Abdul Rashid Dass, Joint Director Planning Imtiyaz Ahmad, district heads of various departments and other concerned were present on the occasion.
While acknowledging the outstanding contribution of Kangoo, DDC Bandipora conveyed his best wishes to him and prayed for his good health and success post retirement.
He particularly mentioned his contribution as veterinarian in the field and said that he has presented his research works in many national and international conferences besides working hard in various capacities across the state for the betterment of health and productivity of the livestock
He opined that post retirement life could be dedicated for the betterment of society by continuing his work in service of livestock wealth in the state by utilizing his vast experience and knowledge.
Officers appreciated him for their dedication and honesty during their three-decade service career. Kangoo thanked all their colleagues for their support and cooperation during their tenure in the department.
On the occasion DC Bandipora presented gift and mementos to retiring officer as a token of appreciation on behalf of the district administration.
