Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) chief Mehmood Shah on Monday said calling Hajin as a city of Kuka Parray is a disgrace, while describing its people as “respected” ones.
“Hajin was best known as a city of Mujahideen and it is still known with the same identity. There is no place for Indian agents in whole Jammu Kashmir,” a spokesperson of LeT Dr Abdullah Ghaznavi in a statement issued to GNS quoted Shah as saying.
Mehmood Shah thanked the people of Hajin in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district for their “immense and unmatched support to freedom fighters” and said the people of Hajin are respected ones.
LeT chief has paid tribute to “martyred hero” of Hajin, Mudassir, and said the 14-year-old “bravely” fought against Indian forces.
“One freedom fighter overqualified 4000 Indian soldiers; only a handful of three freedom fighters fought for more than 18 hours with Indian forces,”
“The mothers of the nation reside here who gave birth to the sons like Mudassir. Every boy of Jammu Kashmir is Mudassir, Majid Zargar, Bashir Lashkari, Qasim and Burhan today,” he said.
Shah also thanked the people of Mujgund for their “immense love, harmony, support, sacrifices and emotions”.
“Such emotions are exemplary and the magnitude of it cannot be measured. Such relations are for Allah (SWT) and they will remain so till the Day of Judgement,” Lashkar cheif said. (GNS)
