Ganderbal Sept 11【KNZ】: A working meeting was held between the Casual Labour Union and District president Ganderbal Mr. Fayaz Ahmad on Sunday at panzigam area of North Kashmir’s Bandipora District.
During the meeting, the representatives of the Casual labour delegation shared their experience regarding the major issues like Regularisation policy, Pending and wages policy by the Govt. with the newly elected president.
As part of the working meeting, President of the Union Mr. Fayaz Ahmad answered the various questions that were raised by the different members of the union.
The main meeting discussion was about the problems that are faced by the Linemen while they are in reparing the damaged lines and accidentally gets handicapped. It was highlighted that no major policy is for the persons who gets handicapped accidentally during the service in PDD department.A new policy should be drafted for them and also for the persons who have already been the victims of those consequences during the past.
While Talking to Kashmir Based News Agency”Kashmir News Zone” Mr. Fayaz Ahmad said that All the Casual Labours especially the Casual Labour’s from Sub Transmission Division (STD) Ganderbal,ED Ganderbal,ED Sumbal and ED Bandipora are informed to come and join our program which is scheduled to be held on September 13 In Public Park Beehama Ganderbal. The main motive of the meeting will be to take our demand with the DC,ADC,AEE of Ganderbal District and if the same demands are not fulfilled within the stipulated time we will go on for the Strike till our demands are not fully accepted.
Earlier during the meeting the old union was dissolved and a new union was elected with Mr. Fayaz Ahmad as the new president.
Later the Casual Labour members appreciated the president on his thoughts and wished him well for the betterment of work for PDD Department.
