Srinagar CNS, April 26: Causal Labours of J&K Projects Construction Corporation (JKPCC) headed by Bilal Ahmad staged a protest at Press Colony Lalchowk, Srinagar and blamed authorities for not releasing their wages.
While talking to CNS, he said, “We are working in the said Depatment since last fifteen years. Today we came here only to appeal Hon’ble Lt Governor to release our pending wages which are pending since last eight months”
They added that their families are forced to starve as their wages is the only source of income for them.
One of the employees Imran Farooq said, “I have 10 family members and to fulfill all of their needs is my obligation”
He added that due to pending wages, he is not able to clear tuition fees of his children.
They sought the personal intervention of LG Manoj Sinha in this regard. (CNS)
