The forest department has withheld the salaries of more than hundreds casual and need based employees for over seven months, forcing them to fend on their own.
According to the employees, hundreds of daily wagers, casual and need based labourers of forest deptt.are starving along with their families and dependents as their salaries have not been paid on EID . “Our earned wages have not been disbursed from past 7 months due to non-availability of funds which have unjustly been withheld by the secretary forest department for unknown reasons,” an employee said adding “We are facing extreme hardships due to the immense injustice of the secretary forest department
