Kargil, October 11, 2024: Chairman/Chief Executive Councilor, LAHDC, Kargil, Dr Mohd Jaffer Akhoon today met with a delegation of Rgyal/Gyanchocks Wakha led by Councilor, Mohd Jawad at Conference Hall, Council Secretariat.
The delegation apprised the CEC about various grievances of their village including delay in construction work of irrigation canal which has been already allotted to contractor, repair of grinding mill and its canal, construction of burst wall and renovation/ repair of Gyanchoks Bridge and other related demands.
CEC Kargil gave a patient hearing to the demands and assured the locals of the village that all demands will be fulfilled at the earliest on the priority basis.
He also assured the locals that the LAHDC Kargil is always open for them to bring forward their genuine concerns and demands for consideration.
