Ganderbal 26 Feb (KNZ) : Child labour goes unchecked in Ganderbal as minor children,less than 14 years of age,are working as labourers in Nallah Sindh.
According to a report minors work in quarry in various parts of Ganderbal.The child lare working in the sindh without any check as the concerned department continues to stay in slumber.
The existing Child Labour Act and other laws regarding prevention of child labour appear not to be effective at all because child labour is quite common everywhere in Ganderbal.
When Kashmir News Zone-KNZ Contacted Protection Officer NIC Mrs Aaliya she said,the serious efforts to strictly implement laws against child labour and says that every week we conduct inspections in district to see children working as labourers and come across violation of such laws.KNZ
