A delegation of Civil society Kangan met Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal Shafqat Iqbal, in view of the problems being faced by the people of Akhal-Hayan belt of Sub Division Kangan, on account of no road connectivity, due to non completion of Construction of Two bridges Viz Akhal Bridge and Tangchatter Bridge and due to the closure of already existing Akhal Bridge.
Civil society Kangan also presented a memorandum to Dc Ganderbal in this regard, and also requested District administration to consider for some modifications at the Trauma Hospital Kangan.
DC Ganderbal while appreciating the genuine demands of the people, assured of full support and infact said that he will take these issues on priority and will get the problems solved as expeditiously as possible. Dc Ganderbal at the request of Civil Society Kangan, promised to visit the Akhal so as to take the first hand account of problems being faced by the people of area. Dc Ganderbal also passed on spot direction to Medical superintendent of trauma Hospital Kangan, for making all facilities available to the people.
