Srinagar:A civilian was killed after a forces’ vehicle allegedly ran over him during clashes with the government forces in Safa Kadal area of Downtown Srinagar on Saturday.
Reports said that massive clashes erupted after gunfight broke out in Gasi Mohalla of Chattabal.
They said a civilian who was critically injured after a forces’ vehicle ran over him at Safa Kadal was shifted to SMHS hospital where he succumbed.
The deceased was identified as Adil Ahmad.
A CRPF spokesman Rajesh Yadav said the youth was not hit by the CRPF vehicle.(GK)
