Says JK neither a party to partition nor did it support division on communal lines
Srinagar, Jan 31: Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti on Wednesday condemned the statement made by Deputy Grand Mufti, Nasir-ul-Islam wherein he had asked Muslims living in India to demands a separate state.
The Chief Minister further said that Jammu and Kashmir was “neither a party to the partition of our country nor did we support division on religious lines.”
She in her tweet said that “we as a state opted for the opposite but unfortunately are still paying the price.”
