Feb 10: Inaugural sensitization programme was held in Shopian for heads of educational institutes regarding comprehensive SOPs to be followed regarding Covid-19 in the wake of opening of schools.
The programme was organized by District Disaster Management Authority, Shopian in joint collaboration with Divisional Covid-19 Control Room and School Education Department.
On this occasion, Chairman, DDMA, Shopian Shrikant Suse highlighted that motive behind organizing such program developing comprehensive SOPs on School Safety including Covid-19 prevention and control, safe re-opening of schools and mid-day meals.
Earlier, a detailed presentation was given to all participants by Dr Rabbani Tariq i/c IEC from Divisional Covid-19 Control Room regarding SoPs and safety measures to be followed while reopening schools.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Shopian, Chief Education Officer, Dy.CEO, Principals, ZEOs and heads of private schools participated in the programme.
