BANDIPORA, APRIL 30: Additional Deputy Commissioner, Bandipora, Zahoor Ahmad Mir Thursday visited various Quarantine centres established in the district and took stock of arrangements put in place for the persons under administrative quarantine.
Mir who was accompanied by Nodal Officer Imtiyaz Ahmad Lone visited Quarantine Centre established at Faiz-e-Aam Secondary School, One-Stop Centre Nishat Park, ANMT School Nussu, ITI Bandipora, Guest House Ayatmulla, Forest Trainning School Chiternar, Degree College Patushai and Mehboob-ul-Alam College of Education and took stock of arrangements made for the suspected persons.
He interacted with the nodal officers and other staff besides interacting with the persons placed under quarantine to get the feedback about the facilities being provided to them.
On the occasion ADC was informed that 33 quarantine centres have been established in the district and 551 persons are under administrative quarantine in the district
ADC impressed the concerned officers to provide food to the boarders on time especially during Iftar and Sehri time besides taking extra care of the children and women under quarantine. He also stressed on proper hygienic refreshment to the boarders besides ensuring proper sanitation, heating and round the clock electricity at the Quarantine centre.
Mir asked the supervisory staff and the nodal officer to be in touch with the district control room to flag requirements so that arrangements can be made at earliest. He directed concerned officers to ensure the availability of all basic facilities in the Quarantine Centres.
