Ganderbal 24 Dec (KNZ):On the directions of District Mineral Officer Ganderbal Er Zulfikar Mohd Shafi ,the team of Geology Mining department conducted raids with the help of Ganderbal Police in many areas of Ganderbal to curb illegal extraction of minor minerals and seized 34 Vehicles from last week.
During the raids team of Geology Mining department yesterday seized 7 tippers involved illegal mining and handed over to Ganderbal Police
On the occasion the DMO Ganderbal Er Zulfikar Mohd Shafi warned offenders to desist from the illegal extraction of minke minerals,asding that stern action under rules shall be taken against them.
He said the vehicles were seized under mines and minerals Act.KNZ
