Bandipora, 03 Feb(KNZ): Fresh cross border firing has been reported in Bagtoor sector of Gurez valley in North Kashmir’s Bandipora district.
The firing took place in the Gurez sector, which is about 86 kilometres from Bandipore district of Jammu and Kashmir. The Indian Army retaliated by giving a befitting reply, said sources.
Reportedly Pakistan has violated the ceasefire late Monday evening which created chaos and panic among the locals of Gurez area.
However there was no immediate report of any casualty or injury during the firing.
The firing on LOC was going on when this report was filled.KNZ
