Ganderbal:To Promote the police and public relation cultural programme (singing competition) (solo & group version) was organised in District Police Lines Ganderbal under Civic Action Programme in which various students of different schools participated.
Ganderbal Police recently conducted two programmes of Mehfil-e-Mushaira and Painting Competition in District Ganderbal under Civic Action Programme.
On the occasion SSP Ganderbal Shri Khalil Ahmad Poswal-JKPS was the Chief Guest of the event and ASP Ganderbal Shri Fayaz Ahmad, DySP DAR Shri Abdul Majid-JKPS, DySP SDPO Kangan Shri Tahir Ameen-JKPS, DySP HQR Shri Fahad Tak-JKPS, were guest of honour on the occasion.
Members of “Expandables Music Band” performed beautifully on the event. The contestants performed on the band flawlessly. Ganderbal Police are highly thankful to the members of “Expandables Music Band”

On the occasion Cheif Guest SSP Ganderbal and Guest of Honour ASP Ganderbal distributed cash prizes and Trophies to the winners.
The Music contest winners in Group version are detailed below :-
(01) 3rd position in Group version is GMS group from Girls Middle school Chattergul.
(02) 2nd position in group version is tie between Mir Ryan & group and sabrina & group.
(03) 1st position in group version is Sania & group.
The winner in solo version is detailed below :-
(01) 3rd position in solo version is Sania Malik
(02) 2nd position in solo version is a tie between Afaq shafi and chisti junaid.
(03) 1st position in solo version is Aabid Nabi.
On the occasion SSP Ganderbal Shri Khalil Ahmad Poswal-JKPS said, “such programmes will continue in future and Ganderbal Police will constitute singing classes in District Ganderbal to promote the singing talent of students”.
