Ganderbal : A minor girl died while her father was critically wounded in a road accident in Ganderbal’s Lar area.
An official told to Kashmir News Zone KNZ that on Friday afternoon, one scooty bearing the registration number JK05J 0306 was hit by an unknown Tata mobile vehicle in the Lar area of Ganderbal, resulting in injuries to the scooter riders.
The two identified as Firdous Ahmed Magar and his daughter Zahida were shifted to the nearby hospital for treatment, he said.
Zahid, who was eight years old, succumbed to her injuries, while her father is being treated at the hospital, the official added.
“The Police has registered a case in this regard and a manhunt has been launched to nab the driver who fled away from the spot,” the official told.
