BANDIPORA, MARCH 09: Deputy Commissioner Bandipora Dr Owais Ahmad on Tuesday chaired a meeting of concerned officers to review the arrangements put in place for the smooth conduct of re-poll DDC in DDC Constituency Hajin-A.
The Deputy Commissioner sought details from the Nodal Officers regarding arrangements being put in place for smooth conduct of the re-poll at a seat in Hajin. Election Commission has directed re-poll on the seat.
The meeting discussed availability of logistics including ballot boxes, stationary and other related requirements.
The Deputy Commissioner directed Nodal officers to work in close coordination with election cell and adhere to all government directions issued from time to time.
He also laid emphasis upon appraising daily progress achieved in finalizing the arrangements for enabling the conduct of re-poll in a free, fair and transparent manner.
