GANDERBAL, MAY 23: District Development Commissioner Ganderbal, Hashmat Ali Khan today chaired a meeting with the officials of FCS & CA Department to review the AADHAR Seeding, POS Transactions and Stock position in view of ensuing Mela Kheer Bawani and Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra.
The meeting was attended by Chief Planning Officer, Anika Mushtaq, Assistant Director FCS & CA, Mir Ali Mohd besides all TSOs of the district.
The meeting reviewed AADHAR Seeding, POS Transactions, status of POS machines, total beneficiaries seeded with AADHAR, digitization of Ration Cards besides Stock position of essential commodities in view of Mela Kheer Bawani and Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra.
Assistant Director FCS & CA briefed the meeting about the status of the AADHAR Seeding, POS Transactions and Stock position in view of Mela Kheer Bawani and Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra in the district.
The meeting was informed that out of 68202 Ration Cards, 55225 Ration Cards are AADHAR seeded besides 100% Ration Cards are digitized in the district. Regarding total beneficiaries seeded, the meeting was informed that out of total 305761 souls seeded, 162297 souls are seeded with AADHAR.
Regarding transition through POS, the meeting was informed that 103 POS are functional in the district and total transition through POS till 22nd May, 2019 is 39061 which is 57.27%.
While reviewing the status of AADHAR Seedling, the DC directed the TSOs to start massive awareness camp at Tehsil, blocks and village level to achieve 90% AADHAR Seedling of Ration Cards within a period of month in the district.
Later, DDC also reviewed the stock position of essential commodities like rice, atta, sugar, kerosene and LPG for Mela Kheer Bawani and Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra.
The Assistant Director FCS & CA informed that sufficient stock of all essential commodities is available in the district to cater the needs during Mela Kheer Bawani.
