GANDERBAL, JULY 30: Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal, Shafqat Iqbal today urged upon the officers/officials to ensure punctuality and effective deli very of services to public visiting to their offices.
He made these remarks during a meeting to review functioning of all departments functioning from the Mini Secretariat Ganderbal.
The meeting also discussed various issues pertaining to sanitation, cleanliness of the offices besides punctuality of the employees working in the government offices of the district.
Taking a strong note about the absenteeism of employees, the DC said the district administration shall take tough action against absenteeism to ensure smooth functioning of government departments and prompt deliverance of services to the people.
Reiterating district administration’s commitment for better public service delivery and zero tolerance policy for absenteeism, DC exhorted upon the district officers to ensue all employees working in their offices remain punctual and warned that no laxity on their part towards their duties will be tolerated.
The meeting was attended by the Additional Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal, Farooq Ahmad Baba, Chief Planning Officer, ACR besides all district and sectoral officers of the district.
