POONCH, OCTOBER 11: Deputy Commissioner, Inder Jeet today chaired a meeting of the concerned officers to discuss the arrangements for Dussehra and Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi (SAW).
Threadbare discussions were held on the important arrangements, including uninterrupted supply of Power and water, medical facilities, security, adequate ration, sanitation besides others related issues.
The DC directed the PHE and PDD to ensure uninterrupted water and power supply during the holy days, while the Municipal authorities were asked to ensure cleanliness for the conveniences of the devotees. He asked the police authorities to ensure adequate security arrangements.
The DDC asked to follow the SOP guidelines to avoid the risk of Covid 19 infection.
Additional Deputy Commissioner, Dr. Basharat Hussain; ASP, Liaqat Chowdhary; ACR, Zaheer Ahmed Kaifi, all concerned officers besides heads representatives of religious organizations and prominent citizens were present in the meeting.
