GANDERBAL, NOVEMBER 23【KNZ】: District Development Commissioner Ganderbal, Dr Piyush Singla has appealed the youth of the district to make the best use of facilities available at Tehsil Library Ganderbal.
Established in 1977, the library has got a rich collection of books on various subjects like English, physics, Maths, Science and much more. Besides, the library has religious books, Kashmiri books and books for competitive examinations as well.
The DDC said the importance of books can never diminish with the advent of latest technologies and stressed youth to avail the benefits of the resources at the library.
He said the library is the best place for local students to read books and get quality study material for competitive examinations like NEET/JEE from the top authors of India. Also, the library is providing study material for preparation of civil services examinations like KAS, IAS, and UGC NET/SLET, the DDC said.
“Moreover, the library has a unique collection of purchased Video Lectures which are an asset to the library and are not available anywhere else on the internet. These video lectures are available on Tabs and computer systems of the library for NEET/JEET aspirants so that they can have chapter wise full depth knowledge of important subjects like Physics, Chemistry and Biology,” the DDC added.
