FEBRURY 19: In order to provide governance at the door steps and to ensure the grievance redressal mechanism at every level, after assuming charge as District Development Commissioner Ganderbal, Shafqat Iqbal today chaired a maiden public interaction programmes at several places in Kangan Sub-division where he listened to the public grievances.
These camps, held at SDM Office Kangan and Mammer were attended by SSP Ganderbal, ADC, SDM, Executive engineer of R&B, district officers, AWQAF Committee Kangan, besides representatives of Kangan Market Traders.The public representatives on the occasion apprised the DDC about various issues relating to roads, electricity, schools, water supply, healthcare facilities and other public important issues.
Besides, representatives of Kangan Market Traders also raised the issues of sanitation and drainage and other issues of the main market. Meanwhile, DDC gave a patient hearing to the representatives and assured them that their genuine demands will be addressed in a phased manner at an earliest.During these camps, DDC issued on-the-spot instructions to the concerned officers aimed at resolution of several concerns and directed them to maintain close liaison with the local population so that their grievances are redressed at the earliest.Later, DDC visited the Fish Farm Mammer where he inspected the working and progress of the farm.
