GANDERBAL, MARCH 09: District Development Commissioner Ganderbal, Hashmat Ali Khan today visited Kondbal, Safapora mountain slip spot which occurred during Friday late-night due to which some houses were under threat of damage.
The DDC was accompanied by SSP Ganderbal Khalil Poswal, officials from Geology and Mining, Tehsildar Lar and other officials from district administration.
During his visit, the DDC personally monitor the clearance operation and arrangements put in place for shifting of affected family here.
DDC directed the concerned Tehsildar to identify the land for shifting of affected family to safer place.
The officials of Geology and Mining were asked to submit DPR for the construction of Protection wall at an earliest to prevent loss of life and property.
He further directed the Geology and Mining department to keep vigil on illegal mining which is already banned in the area.
