GANDERBAL, MARCH 27: The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Ganderbal, Krittika Jyotsna today convened a meeting of various Departments to review their functioning and implementation of various schemes offered by these departments.
The departments whose progress was reviewed include ICDS, National Rural Livelihood Mission, District Youth Services and Sports, FC&CA besides awareness regarding Forest Rights Act, 2006.
District Programme Officer ICDS, Chief Planning Officer, DFO Sindh Forest Division, AD, FCS&CA besides officials of NRLM, Education and District Youth Services and sports were present at the meeting.
The District Programme Officer briefed the meeting regarding status of procurement of Nutrition, number of children enrolled in the Anaganwadi centers, PMMVY, POSHAN Abhiyan, Mahilla Shakti Kendra (MSK), Ladli Beti, Scheme for Adolescent Girls and other allied schemes.
The DDC directed the concerned officer to expedite the procurement of Nutrition for the Anaganwadi Centres and laid emphasis upon addressing the concerns of general public regarding implementation of Ladli Beti Scheme and other allied schemes in the district.
The DDC sought details from the concerned departments regarding the progress achieved under various schemes offered by them. She stressed for mass awareness so that the benefit of schemes reach to the deserving one.
While reviewing the progress of FCS&CA, the DDC stressed upon all officials of FCS&CA for fair distribution of food and essential commodities, she also directed the officials to ensure cent percent Aadhar Seeding is achieved at an earliest.
Regarding implementation of National Rural Livelihood Mission in district, she stressed upon the NRLM functionaries to work in coordination with concerned departments and banks to achieve 100 percent coverage under the scheme.
Meanwhile the DDC also took brief on status of disposal of grievances registered on Integrated Grievance Redressal Portal and directed the all the departments to ensure suitable quality disposal of the grievances within the minimum possible time and reiterated that no laxity shall be tolerated in this regard.
