Tral, 31 Aug: District Development Council (DDC) member and PDP leader Dr. Harbaksh Singh on Tuesday visited Tral and inaugurated several developmental projects here.
The DDC visited Rathsuna, Saimoh and Koil-Shikargah areas of Tral sub district, where he inaugurated sports stadium, road and another project in a government school.
Talking to media, Singh said that DDCs are trying their best to ensure development at village level, with proper monitoring of all works.
He said that “inauguration of developmental works is not the main purpose, but to see whether the projects are beneficial for people or not.”
During his visit, Singh met a delegation of people as well, and discussed several issues with them.
