BANDIPORA JUNE 29: District Development Commissioner Bandipora Ravinder Kumar Monday convened a meeting to review the physical and financial progress of projects approved under PMGSY in the district.
The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner Bandipora Zahoor Ahmad Mir , Joint Director Planning Imtiyaz Ahmad, SDM Sumbal, DFO Bandipora and other senior officers of the district.
On the occasion DC Bandipora directed the officers to speed up the works taken up under PMGSY including macmdamization of roads.
He directed the officers and executing agencies to ensure completion of all works within stipulated time frame and also stressed for regular field visits to ensure works are executed on time and under set targets on time besides gear up their men and machinery for bringing additional vibrancy in the department functioning.
DC Bandipora lauded the role of the officials played in connecting people of far flung areas and said right from the beginning PMGSY have been playing an important role in connecting the far flung areas
DDC instructed the officers to work with utmost dedication and zeal. He asked the officers to maintain the quality while executing the work and establish a close liaison with the local population so that the progress and quality of the work can be monitored by the public for whom these developmental activities are carried out.
He also cautious the field staff to remain stationed in the field and monitor the progress on a daily basis.
