Srinagar, Dec 1: A dead body was of a man reportedly found lying near the riverbanks at Zinpora Nowgam area of Central Kashmir Srinagar district on Sunday.
An official told NVI that, the body of man was spotted by locals, who immediately alerted the authorities.
He said, following the information, a police team was dispatched to the spot to investigate the matter.
He was identified as, Mudasir Ashraf dar s/o Mohammad Ashraf Dar r/o Namblabal Pampore.
Police have initiated a probe, and further details are awaited,” he said.—(NVI)
