Ganderbal 29 Dec (KNZ):Residents of Kral Khani and adjoining areas staged a protest against R&B department for failed to provide road connectivity in the area
For more than 15 years, the residents of Kral Khani area of Hayan in district Ganderbal are demanding a link road from Hayan to Kral Khani village. However, the demand has so far fallen on deaf ears.
People especially old aged persons and school going children suffer due to non-availability of road in the village and it has affected the villagers mostly patients” said locals.
They said that due to unavailability of road connectivity, we are facing lot of problems
They added that we have brought this issue in notice of concerned authorities several times but their repeated promises proved hoax on ground.
We request the Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and other higher officials to look into the matter so that the long pending issues will be solve
When contacted Junior Engineer Ishfaq Rasool he said ,this is the long pending demand and our department has been framed a DPR and forwarded to higher authorities for administrative approval.KNZ
