Ganderbal 05 Dec (KNZ):Delhi Public School celebrated its first Annual Day today with pomp and show at Sehpora Ganderbal under the Guidance of Principal B A Tantray
Chief Education Officer Mr Gayas U Din was the chief guest of the event
The function was attended by a crowd of parents and many eminent personalities, like Mr. Abdul Ahad Dar, a social, educational reformer & a leading senior citizen of the area, Mr. Mohammad Maqbool Dar (Edu) a member of the management, Principal Dastageeri public school, Farooq Ahmad, principal waheed memorial school,Molvi Javaid Ahmad, Ali Mohammad Sehpora a social activity and Gh.Hassan Para the management member, Mr Masroor a leading teacher and parent.
Different colourful programmes and cultural activities were performed by students which were appreciated by all.
The Chief Education officer Ganderbal in his address appreciated the efforts of children and the staff as well and also the approach of the principal in making the school a leading one in the area.
The chairman Sajad Hassan Para of the school presided over the second session of the celebration.
The Principal gave brief sketch of the school proceedings and motive of the school.
He also thanked all for patience and their presence in the function.KNZ
