Storekeepers have turned in Mafia at many depots in Ganderbal

Ganderbal 09 April (KNZ):Many Storekeepers in Ganderbal have overstayed at many depots for more than 3 years and despite Order of Director FCS&CA to transfer overstayed Store keepers.Assistant Director Food Ganderbal is yet to implement the order.
Director’s Order reads “Assistant Directors to effect circle wise transfer of the overlayed offficials with stay period of 2-3 years working under their adminstrative control within weeks positively.The transfer of these officials be made their own circle and out of the circle also if need arises.
Sources said AD food Ganderbal early ask for Information from TSO’s ragarding overstayed store keeper and TSO’s accordingly sent proposal to AD food but AD is reluctant to transfer the storekeepers.
Director had ordered on 26 Feb 2021 to transfer all overstayed store keeper within 15 days but in Ganderbal nothing was done.
As per sources some store keepers have been posted at one place for more than a decade and they now adamant to stay have a monopoly there .
Local residents said Adminstration is looking as mute Spectator and no action is been taken.
According to reliable sources storekeepers are posted for 6 years ,7 years ,8 years ,5 years ,4 years ,11 years ,15 years.
Despite repeated attempts Director FCS&CA Bashir Ahmad and AD Food Ganderbal Naseer Baba didn’t responded to calls by this reporter.
Locals have appealed to DC Ganderbal and LG admin to look into the matter.KNZ
