Ganderbal 30 OCT【KNZ】 :Sports festival organized by District Police Ganderbal have been inagurated today at Sainik School Manasbal Ground in Ganderbal District.

The sports festival was inaugurated by Shri Gh Hassan Bhat, IPS, DIG Central Kashmir.

Senior police,Civil Admistrative and security officers besides other dignitaries were present during the opening ceremony at Sainik School Manasbal Sports Ground.

On the occasion SP Ganderbal Fayaz Ahmad Lone while speaking on the occasion thanked the participant and requested them to join hands with police in order to create peaceful atmosphere in the district.

He further said that the main aim is to organize such programs is to provide a platform to the talented youth to advocate sports curriculum in the district and to outreach the areas where avenues are not available but talent is visible.
The SP Ganderbal assured the participants that such programs shall be organized in future too to capitalize the talent of youth at State and National level.
During the sport’s event, around 400 boys and girls from different schools will take part in various games and sports activities viz football,Volley ball,kho kho, kabadi, Martial Arts- Wushu,Tug of War,Taekwondo other athletic events.KNZ
