Ganderbal:Today DIG CKR SHRI Suleman Chaudhary-IPS visited District Ganderbal to review security scenario,implementation of lockdown, and to review other preventive measures against COVID-19 take by District Police.
In this regard regards a power point presentation was made by SSP Ganderbal Sh. Khalil Poswal
Which indicated five level of security arrangements in place viz lockdown cut offs, protection at Administrative Quarantine centre, at Hospitals, with medical surveillance teams and sealing of red zones.
Besides welfare measures taken for needy person and senior citizens through special helplines as well as roping in of volunteers/ NGOs for better delivery services. Besides SSP Ganderbal also briefed that so far against violators of restrictions 23 cases have been registered and 56 persons arrested .
Further DIG CKR directed that security personnel’s deployed in quarantine centers and red zone areas should be proper gears / other protective equipments and they should not be frequently changed.
