Ganderbal, March 29:- One day disaster preparedness training programme was jointly organized by J&K State Disaster Management Authority and State Disaster Response Force at Government Secondary School Wussan, Ganderbal here today.
The Programme was inaugurated by Director Disaster Management, Aamir Ali in presence of Tehsildar Kangan, Mohammad Aslam, Headmaster of the school, Mubeena Akhtar and Deputy Controller Civil Defense Ganderbal, Bashir Ahmad.
The Trainers from SDRF taught the students and teaching staff various methods of emergency rescue including First Aid, Search & Rescue. The participants were also taught Fire fighting techniques and use of fire extinguisher. The participants actively participated in the practical training sessions. The experts from SDRF included Abdul Gaffar and Aijaz Ahmad.
