KULGAM, AUGUST 24: The District Magistrate, Kulgam, Mr. Talat Parvez Rohella today issued an order banning the use of fire crackers in the district. The order has been issued to ensure peace and public order, health and safety of the general public.
Invoking Section 144 of CrPC, the DC imposed complete ban on the sale, purchase, dumping, carrying and use of fire crackers in the district with immediate effect.
District police has been entrusted with the responsibility to implement the order in letter and spirit.
This order shall remain effective upto 24th of September, 2017.
