Ganderbal 26th Jan : Ganderbal Police Celebrated 73rd “Republic Day-2022″at Madr-e-Meharbaan Stadium Qamariya Ganderbal with huge fervour and enthusiasm in which Chief Guest, DDC Chairperson Ganderbal Smt. Nuzhat Ishfaq along with SSP Ganderbal Shri Nikhil Borkar-IPS unfurled the National Flag and took the Salute. Further Chief Guest presented her speech regrading various dimensions of developmental works of District Administration during the previous year.
The March past was led by DySP DAR Ganderbal Shri Muzaffar Jan-JKPS in which 08 Contingents of forces took part. Viz, District Police Ganderbal, Armed Police 14th Bn., CRPF 115/118th Bn., BSF, SSB, PTS Manigam, Home Guard and SPOs . Apart from that 11 Contingents of Students from various schools also took part in the event with huge enthusiasm.
Moreover, colourful Cultural programmes were presented by students and youth clubs from different institutions of District Ganderbal. The 118 Bn of CRPF also presented a beautiful “Bangra” dance.
Besides Officers of Civil Administration, ADDC Ganderbal Shri Peer Muzaffar-JKAS, ADC Shri Farooq Ahmad Baba-JKAS, ACR Ganderbal Shri Baseer Ahmad-JKAS participated in the Event. ASP Ganderbal Shri Feroz Yehya-JKPS, DySP HQRs Ganderbal Shri Abdul Majid-JKPS and SHOs/ DOs of District Police Ganderbal were also present on the occasion.
Covid Appropriate Behaviour was adopted strictly by all the participants and the function ended with a grand award ceremony. The awards were distributed among the students and other professional men belonging to different fields.
