Ganderbal:Endeavour of J&K Police is to ensure well being of retired Officers/Officials of its department. In this regard, a meet was organised at District Police Office Ganderbal.
Various issues of their post-retirement life discussed particularly their health condition. Association of retired Police Officers/Officials put forth demand for having Police Hospital in every District of J&K where retirees can also avail benefits.
In addition, they also demanded enhancement of contribution of serving Police Employees in favour of retirees from Rs10 to Rs20.
The prominent amongst those who attended meeting includes retired officers: S.I Mohd Tayib khan, INSP Bashir Ah. Parray, S.I Gh. Qadir Shah, A.S.I Sana ullah Raina, A.S.I Gh. Nabi Bhat, S.I Mohd Yousuf, Mohd Maqbool, A.S.I Mohd Sultan, S.I Mohd Jamal Khan, S.I Gh. Ahmad Shair Gojri, A.S.I Abdul Gani Parray, A.S.I Mohd Sultan Bhat, A.S.I Abdul Gafar, A.S.I Gh. Qadir wani and S.I Mohd Yousuf.
Besides, it Dy.SP DAR Dr Abdul Majid Magray-JKPS and welfare team of Police also participated the meet.
