GANDERBAL, DECEMBER 05: A District Level Implementation Committee (DLIC) meeting chaired by Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ganderbal, Shyambir, was held today to review and approve cases under the Mission Youth J&K schemes, including Mumkin, Tejaswini, and Spurring Entrepreneurship Initiative at DC Office Ganderbal.
The Nodal Officer for Mission Youth self-employment schemes, Assistant Director Employment Ganderbal, presented 37 new cases for the committee’s consideration.
These include 18 cases under the Mumkin scheme, 13 cases under the Tejaswini scheme and 6 cases under the Spurring Entrepreneurship Initiative.
After thorough scrutiny, the committee approved all 37 cases.
During the meeting, the DC directed the Lead District Manager to expedite the clearance of cases pending with various bank branches for pre-checks, sanctioning, and disbursement.
He also emphasized the need for timely reporting of progress to the Nodal Officer for Mission Youth.
Addressing the issue of rejected cases, the DC instructed that rejection reasons must be reviewed thoroughly. If rejections are due to departmental or banking issues, they must be clearly identified and resolved promptly.
The issue of Detailed Project Report (DPR) preparation, a frequent cause of rejections under the Spurring Entrepreneurship Initiative, was also discussed. To address this, the DC directed officers from Vikalp to assist applicants in completing their DPRs to facilitate approval.
The meeting was attended by the General Manager District Industries Centre, Lead District Manager, Assistant Director Employment, Assistant Regional Transport Officer, District Nodal Officer JKEDI, District Officer KVIB, and other concerned officials.
