Ganderbal, Aug 28【KNZ】:A massive drive against illegal encroachment have been launched in Gundroshan and rabitar areas today on the directions of DC Ganderbal Dr.Piyush .
The team led by Tehsildar Tulmulla Mr Gh Mohd Khatana along with other official’s thrown open more than 20 kanals of land and removed trees and evacuated kanals of land encouraged by locals.
The general public and civil society welcomed the drive conducted by joint team led by Tehsildar Tullamulla on the instructions of D.C Ganderbal and requested district administration that such drives should be conducted in future also.
Mr. G.M Khatana Tehsildar Tullamulla, further appealed to the general public not to encroach upon the footpaths, pavements etc. which is a main cause of inferior conditions in the areas.
The officials who were part of drive included Naib Tehsildar Tullamulla Mr. Mohammad Maqbool Rather, DSP Ganderbal Mr. Ashiq Hussain, DO Shadipora Mr. Towseef Habib, police,Revenue and other officials of District Administration .
