Ganderbal: One alleged drug peddler carrying 1.4 kg of cannabis arrested in Ganderbal district, police said Monday.
The district Police Ganderbal Continues its efforts againest Drug abuse and Drug peddlers which has emerged as a big threat to the society.
As per the reports, today on 29th January 2018 at about 02:20 pm, During Naka checking at Kachnambal crossing Kangan a Police party of Police Station Kangan intercepted a suspicious person namely Abdur Rashid Lone son of Ghulam Mohammad Lone of Chattergul and Police party recovered (69) pellets of charas (CANNABIS) measuring about 1.4 kg from his possession.
In this regard case F.I.R No 6/2018 has been registered and investigation taken up.
