GANDERBAL :To Continue its Crackdown on the Drug Peddlers and to eradicate Menace of Drugs prevalent in the society, Ganderbal Police today arrested one more Drug Peddler under the jurisdiction of Police Station Safapora.
During Naka checking at Asham Crossing Safapora Police Party of Police Station Safapora led by SHO Safapora under the supervision of DySP Headquarters apprehended one person who was riding a Motor-cycle. The Suspicious person was stopped by the Police Party and during his personal search 09 bottles of banned drug Codeine Phosphate were recovered. The accused were arrested and the Contraband Substance was also seized on the spot. The accused on questioning disclosed his identity as Irfan Bashir Dar S/O Bashir Ahmad Dar R/O Rakh Asham Bandipora.
In this regard Case FIR No. 44/2022 under relevant sections of law Stands registered in Police Station Safapora and investigation has been taken up.
General Public is requested to inform Ganderbal Police regarding any information of Drugs Menace and its Peddling in the society.
