FEBRURAY 26: The Additional Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal, Farooq Ahmad Baba today directed all teaching staff of Government schools of the district to ensure punctuality in the schools.The ADC made these remarks during his surprise visit to various schools of the district including Government Boys Higher Sec. and Girls Higher Sec. School Ganderbal.
During the visit, the ADC checked the attendance of the teaching and non-teaching staff in schools and said that district administration cannot tolerate irresponsible behavior of school staff and teachers found unauthorized absence from the schools shall be dealt strictly. While interacting with the teachers, the ADC urged them to work towards strengthening the standard of education in the district and to focus on inculcating moral education among the children and engage them in other co curricular activities also.He urged the schools administration to ensure that all basic facilities like toilets, seating arrangements, cleanliness, proper lighting, etc are available in all schools of the district.
